1. Are dogs allowed?

One dog or two small dogs are allowed. We ask a cleaning fee of €25 for one dog and €30 for two dogs.

 

2. Are there toys for children?

Cottessen 14 has a small playground with a slide.

 

3. Is there a fence around the garden?

No, there is no fence

 

4. Are the houses equipped with a washing machine/dishwasher/dryer?

All of the houses have a dishwasher. There is no dryer. Cottessen 14 houses do have a clothes rack to dry your clothes on.

 

5. Is there a barbecue?

The Cottessen house has a barbecue. You can contact us to purchase a onetime use barbecue for you. We will make sure it is in the house when you arrive.

 

6.  Are there bed linens and towels etc. in the holiday houses?

No, you will need to bring your own. All the beds and mattresses are single, so please bring one person covers for the sheets and mattresses and pillows. We do provide blankets and pillows.

 

7. Are there eaves to protect bikes etc.?

The Cottessen 14 house has eaves at the back of the house.

 

8. Is there a fireplace or a stove?

Yes, Cottessen 14 houses have fireplaces and stoves. Cottessen 14a has a fireplace. We can provide you with a bag of wood, which costs €6 per bag. One bag will already be in the house when you arrive.

 

9. Is there internet?

Yes, wireless internet is provided in all the houses.

 

10. What are the arrival and departure times?

The arrival time begins from 4 pm and departure time is 10 am at the latest. This means that a weekend stay is from Friday at 4pm until Monday at 10 am. A midweek stay is from Monday at 4pm until Friday at 10 am and a week stay can start any day.

 

11.  What type of facilities are close by?

In the town of Epen which has  around 1,000 inhabitants (+/- 1 km distance) there is a supermarket (Spar), bakery, tourist information centre with a cash machine, snack bar, cafeteria and restaurants.

 

12.  Is there a swimming pool close by?

Yes, there is a big inside and outdoor swimming pool in the town of Gulpen, called Mosaqua, which is around 10-15 minutes away by car.
